Privacy:
Very simply, we do not provide any information gathered to third parties without your expressed permission. In addition, you will never receive unsolicited email even from us. We never send "mass" promotional messages.
Shopping Cart Security:
The goal of our virtualCART security is to achieve one thing: To deliver credit card information from the customer to Games Unlimited with the minimum possibility of exposure. The primary tool for this is the utilization of secure data encryption through SSL (Secure Socket Layers). Our service encrypts the information between the customer and the cart, and although orders are emailed to us by the service, they strip off the last six digits of the credit card number, which is then processed through a second separate secure site, thus completing the secure path.
In short, even if there was a breach (which our vitualCART service has never experienced), you wouldn't find much on our system. We only store the last six digits of card numbers which wouldn't help at all. The first digits are "piped" straight out separately, and never written to disk at all.
