When someone shouts SET, everyone checks to see if they have discovered three cards that form a SET from the twelve laid face up on the table. If correct, they are one point ahead, and dealer lays out three more cards. The search starts again and all play at the same time. SET has two features that particularly stand out:
  • There are NO TURNS so no dead time
  • The age advantage is minimized; it's one of the few games that children will win without the adults "letting up"
  • Although you've probably never heard of it, SET is our best selling game since we started offering it over 27 years ago; tremendous word of mouth & customer satisfaction rating. Winner of 12 BEST GAME Awards!!

Slide 5: This is the English language version of Wolfgang Kramer's "6 Nimmt" ("Tag 6" / "Take 6"). Players arrange their cards building "hills". Once a hill gets 5 cards high, the 6th cards will cause an avalanche, and that player must take all of the cards in that row (hill), and start a new hill. It's great that all players reveal the cards they wish to play at the SAME time, which makes Slide 6 always unpredictable, with dilemmas at every turn. For ages 8+, 2-10 players. As with many Kramer games, we found the game played better with more players. The strategy may take a few games to figure out but the rules are very easy to digest, making it a quick learn. This one is very addictive, plus as we always say:
It's a Kramer game, how can you lose??
